If you have a NNN ex: (live in truth and honesty and No Lies) , and your partner agrees to stop lying and then they do it again, how many times do you tolerate/forgive this? It could be a stupid lie that made no difference and it belongs to them but since it is told to you, it feels like a violation of your NNN. I get that this is their issue but do I need to learn why that triggers Me and try to be more accepting of their behavior? How many times is too many? It never feels worth leaving “US” over a stupid lie but it erodes trust and that is painful for me. Ultimatum of “if you lie again I’m leaving” sounds severe. Need help navigating this.
